WORD For Today. CJM

WORD For Today. CJM
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. 1 Cor. 10:23

Paul gives a caution against ABUSING our liberty in lawful things. Somethings may be lawful but may not be expedient, if it does not edify. As Christians we do have liberty (freedom), but we must be cautious to not cause a baby Christian to stumble or be careful about ‘blowing’ our own testimony.

Expedient: (Of an action) suitable or appropriate: Example: ‘holding a public inquiry into the scheme was not expedient.’
HAVE A BLESSED DAY!!!
