WORD FOR TODAY. CJM

WORD FOR TODAY. CJM”Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”  ‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:15-16‬  HAVE A BLESSED DAY!!!

WORD FOR TODAY. CJM David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. 1 Samuel 30:6 David and his men arrived home to discover the army of Amalek had burned the city and had taken their wives and children captive. They wept until they could weep no more. The loss was overwhelming. In their grief and frustration the men blamed David and spoke of stoning him… but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. Under God’s direction, David then led a victorious march against the Amalekites and recovered their wives and… Read more WORD FOR TODAY.  CJM

WORD FOR TODAY. CJM  Of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: that, according as it is written, He that glorieth let him glory in the Lord. 1. Corinthians 1:30-31 What are you rejoicing in today? What are you boasting about today? We cannot boast in ourselves and we must not find our joy in this world. WORD FOR TODAY. CJM “There shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation… But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night” (2 Peter 3:3, 4, 10). HAVE A BLESSED DAY!!!!

WORD FOR TODAY. CJM Kings of the earth, and all people…young men, and maidens; old men, and children: let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent. Psalm 148:11-13 Paul talks about the glory of Christ, who has “a name which is above every name” (Philippians 2:9). There are rulers, there are kings, there are dictators, there are princes, but then there is the supremely reigning King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is the ONLY ONE worthy of PRAISE. HAVE A BLESSED DAY!!!!

WORD FOR TODAY. CJM “Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption” (Ephesians 4:30). To grieve: ‘to afflict with deep sorrow.’  When we act like the world, talk like the world, behave like the world, and respond the same way the world does, we cause the Spirit of God to feel hurt, and grief. You see, when we deliberately do what is wrong, we drag Him right into the mire of sin with us, because He lives in us and goes wherever we… Read more WORD FOR TODAY.  CJM
