WORD FOR TODAY. WAIT ON GOD

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isa. 40:29-31

God is the one who gives power to those who are tired and weary. Everyone, even young people, can get weary of all that happens in life – especially during this pandemic. If you’re at the “end of your rope,” commit to doing God’s will. Wait on the Lord.

To wait on God means to REST in Him. Stop striving to try to fix things in the world. Look to God as you meditate on His Word over and over again. Just as a waiter is waiting on the guests, ask God what is on His heart for you. That’s where your strength will be. You will mount up with wings like the eagles!

HAVE A BLESSED DAY!!!
